Persisting Pandemic Pounds


Look, you know why you have gained the weight.

Stress. Boredom. Fear. Monotony. Just to name a few.



But it does not matter why, what matters is what you do now. You don't need a gym, they aren't opening yet anyway. You just need some motivation and movement. Start with 30 minutes a day of movement. Be consistent with it. Stop making excuses. It is easy to find 30 minutes. Wake up earlier if you must. Find something fun to do, related to fitness, and do it every day. Tennis, swimming, weight lifting, yoga, volleyball, rollerskating, or walking are a few thoughts that come to mind. Do it alone, or with a partner, or with your family.


Consistency is the secret sauce to success for your body goals, not magic pills, not slimming teas and not aunt Sally's cayenne pepper cleanse. Be consistent with your daily fitness for optimal results.


What about food? I have said it before and I will say it again. And again. And again.

Keep it PG! Proteins and greens. Add lots and lots of lean proteins and greens into your daily menu. Egg whites, cod, chicken, turkey, tuna and plant based proteins are all great choices. Broccoli, string beans, asparagus, peppers, onions, spinach, brussel sprouts and zucchini are some of my favorites.



Stay consistent with your fitness. Choose better foods 75% of the time. Be patient. Have fun. Be happy. Love yourself. You are not defined by your weight. You will drop those lock down pounds in no time.
